What did you do today?  "Nothing!"

As a teacher, this always breaks my heart when a parent asks their child what he/she did in school and the answer is "nothing!"  At best, a parent might get recess or lunch.  I hope this blog helps to communicate to parents what we are learning, experiencing, and enjoying as a kindergarten family!

The front garden is the kindergarten responsibility.  We have been trying to keep it watered in the first week's heat wave.  We are going to try planting some new plants including native Kansas plants.

Our babies are here!!

Kindergartners will take care of our piglets that just arrived.  We will learn throughout the next several months about the concept of farm-to-plate.  It is our job and responsibility to raise healthy, happy piglets to insure that we have a healthy protein product.
